About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking a suitably qualified and dynamic Humanities Teacher to join our collegiate, skilled and esteemed academic staff team. Reporting to the Head of Humanities, you will be responsible for engaging with students to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences that speak to the core values of the College.  In addition, you will actively engage with and deliver the College’s teaching and learning frameworks.

There is 1x Permanent Full-time position and 1x Temporary Full-Time position, commencing in Term 1, 2025. 

About You

  • Experience in teaching in Humanities across Secondary stages.
  • Ability to teach Ancient History, Business Studies and Society and Culture will be highly regarded.
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
  • Demonstrated excellence as a classroom teacher
  • Collegiate and a good team player
  • Actively support the College’s Christian ethos
  • The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
  • Regular practicing member of a Christian church
